firestorm owners manual
« on: February 12, 2013, 09:43:19 PM »
Hey all! I just got my Firestorm trigger for my Gen7 and was wondering if anyone has an owners manual for the Firestorm? Mine didn't come with one and I was wondering how to adjust the rate of fire. It has a button below the charging port and I know I use that to do it but with no owners manual I have no idea how. I also can't find a manual on their site anywhere.

Thanks in advance

Well I have actually had a chance to play with mine now. In full auto mode if you push the button on the back once it changes the ROF to 9 bps and if you push it again it changes to 13 bps. But only in full auto mode. You can't increase the ROF for 3 rd burst. That is a little bit of a bummer since the a-5 3 rd is faster but oh well. I can live with it to not have a hopper in my left handed line of sight!

Thank you for the response though!

From what I understand the older one doesn't have the selector button right above the charging port. The new one is ROF selectable.

interesting. good to know. now, only if you can just get rid of that safety shots before going full auto on them newer ones. only reason i liked the older ones because it was true full auto and none of that safety shots.

Yeah no kidding! Milsig is supposed to be releasing a non e-grip full auto marker that has no safety shots. Necro did a video on it. Looks nice but I think the 468 is just as nice and probably less money.
