Why would the police care what you do out in the country? I've set off 3 sticks of dynamite and no one cared. I'm also pretty sure they saw it. A mile high column of smoke is pretty hard to miss. Actually, I think they would probably join you for the show. :) As far as canada and its gun laws go, Its just bereaucrats doing what they do best, squander our freedoms. They have been trying to do it here in America just as harshly, though our population is, shall we say, a bit less manageable than canadas (about 300 million people less manageable)

i came across this update to the laws,it includes import laws of
airsoft and replicas, which these markers fall under when customs
looks at them.this is to keep you informed 8)

http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/notice

this second link is to the firearms law which include airsoft and replicas

http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/showdoc/cs/C-46//20070315/en?command=searchadvanced&caller=AD&fragment=automatic%20firearms&search_type=bool&day=15&month=3&year=2007&search_domain=cs&showall=L&statuteyear=all&lengthannual=50&length=50

part III firearms part

thre quarters of the way down is the import and export part.

heres a link from the RCMP on replicas

http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca/factsheets/archive/replicas_e.asp

http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca/factsheets/replica_e.asp

this is to keep you up to date as to why you may not get your marker.  8)

just to bump this thread for the canadians thinking of going to the
big game in the states,if you take your replica marker out of canada
you won't be able to bring it back,so contact customs before leaving.
this is a big crack down by the CBSA,i don't want to see ppl lose
their markers and investment 8)

don't shoot the messenger ;D  i just report the facts,i don't analyze it.
but that what i have been told.you can take your AR15 back and forth,
but not a replica,AR15 restricted--replicas prohibitted. you can't import
replicas,so once it leaves the country you can't bring it back :doh

you are thinking m16 prohibitted.no the AR15 is semi-auto restricted.
you can't buy a M16 in canada since i think 78'.now some AR15's in
military service have select fire i beleive they are M15 if i am correct.
now replicas can't be bought in canada since 98'.certain stores have
the right lic. to brings these into the country but can't sell them to
anyone under 18 years of age.but you can still buy them ,but for
how long?. ppl say well i got mine, well i can say go buy a lottery ticket
then because you were lucky.this nothing against kt,it is our own
customs agents cracking down. 8)

Hey i was just wondering, it is just illegal to import the Markers, into canada, but we can still get tactical gear from here, and like new barrels for the gun? SO what can pass customs without getting taken??

Thx
Domen

You can't import any replica markers into canada. however there NOT illega to own! go figure. ???
You can import anthing else gear, barrels, scopes, clips anything that's not a replica of a fire arm. You can try and sneak it by customs.

oh! and one more thing, if you order iteams and if it has any indacation thats its from rap4, customs will hold it for it to be opened! by a customs officer (dose'nt matter if you did'nt order a marker) meaning it will take longer for it to get to you, about a week longer. just order rap4 markers from canadian retailers www.hitmanpaintball.ca is good. you can also read my post about customs taking my marker!

on the marker, unless you have a import lic. . it is illegel, your best is to see a
canadian dealer to order it from rap4,barrels i think are ok and tac kit.
but it is best to go through a canadian dealer and get all your stuff and
have piece of mind that you will get it.other ppl have gotten their stuff
and will say different.all i can say is, it is your money. 8)

sorry crawdaddy for asying the same thing,i was posting ,stepped away
then came back and hit send ;D
